Bio:- Roger is a passionate parish councillor in Anstey, where he's lived since 1946. He's seen the village grow and change over the years, and he's committed to making Anstey an even better place to live while keeping its unique character. Roger went to Latimer Primary School in the village and Humphrey Perkins Grammar School in Barrow upon Soar, where he developed his strong connection to the community.

As a member of the council's 'Events' committee, Roger loves getting involved in planning and supporting activities that bring the village together, from festivals to local celebrations. He's always hands-on when it comes to improving local services, supporting community projects, and making sure the village's infrastructure is up to scratch.

Roger is approachable and believes in working together with fellow councillors and residents to tackle issues and create positive changes. His goal is to make Anstey a place where everyone feels connected and valued. Through his work on the parish council, he's focused on helping build a strong, welcoming community.
