Cllr Glyn McAllister is the Chairman of the Parish Council.

Bio:- Glyn McAllister was born in Leicester and his earliest memory is the day his family moved to Anstey in 1963. He went to the village Infant, Latimer and Martin Schools before attending Rawlins in Quorn. He worked for the Post Office/Royal Mail for over 38 years where, as a senior union representative, he represented Union members at local, area and national level. Having left Royal Mail in 2015 he worked as a HGV driver and has now retired. Always active in the local community, he played Cricket and Rugby for the local clubs. He is a Trustee of the Anstey Town Charity and is a Director of the Leicestershire and Rutland Association of Local Councils. He was first elected to the Parish Council in 2011 where he has always played an active role. He has been the Chairman of the Council since 2020.
