John Sutherington Tribute

John Sutherington Tribute

After battling with illness Councillor John Sutherington sadly passed away last weekend.
Cllr Sutherington was a member Anstey Parish Council for over 40 years and was a Borough Councillor for nearly 20 years. John was a popular councillor and cared greatly about the community and the residents he served. Having been a part of the Anstey community all of his life, John played a large role in many of the community groups and events in the village. He was also a great friend to many and will be sorely missed.
Anstey Parish Council are providing a book of condolence for residents to pay tribute to John, the book will be given to John's family after his funeral.
The book of condolence will be available at the Parish Office at Jubilee Hall, from Friday 12th October, between the hours of 9-5pm Monday to Thursday, 9-2pm on Friday until Friday 26th October 2018.

PARISH GRANTS

Anstey Parish Council has a history of providing grant aid to organisations, causes or activities considered to be of value to the village in providing actual or potential benefit to village residents.

Individuals and groups are invited to submit their applications for a grant.

Application forms and guidance notes are available on our website www.ansteypc.org or from the Parish Office.

Applications for grant aid must be received by the Clerk by the 31st October.
